Vedika Kumar first film is Madrasi in this film she co-starred with well established actor, Arjun and this film did well at the box office after the success this film was dubbed into Telugu language film as Sivakasi. After the success in Madrasi she got another chance to act in the Tamil film Muni as the female lead opposite Lawrence Raghavendra. The movie was simultaneously dubbed in Telugu.
